Reinforcement of Al Batinah water transmission system.

The project involves the construction of reinforced concrete pipeline chambers at designated junctions and valve locations, designed to provide safe access for inspection and maintenance while withstanding soil pressure and traffic loads. At wadi crossings, protective measures are implemented to safeguard the pipeline against erosion and flood damage, including reinforced concrete encasement, gabion walls, riprap stone pitching to stabilize the alignment and divert seasonal water flows. In addition, durable marker posts made of Galvanized steel are installed at regular intervals, bends, crossings, and chamber sites, each embedded in concrete footings and fitted with reflective paint and identification plates displaying pipeline details and emergency contact information, ensuring clear visibility and reliable identification of the pipeline route.
